The story of Boccard began in the picturesque canton of Lucerne, Switzerland, when founder David Boccard established a small estate planning firm in 1977.

Originally known as Bern Finanzen AG, the firm initially provided services only to a handful of relatives and close friends. As their businesses expanded, so did the firm’s.

In the years that followed, Boccard forged partnerships with fund management houses, and built a successful asset management operation, largely based on facilitating access to fund managers all over Europe and North America.

In 2016, the firm made the decision to restructured itself as a British Virgin Islands corporation to reflect the truly global nature of its business.

Today, Boccard manages over $7 billion in assets for more than 1,100 high net worth families and businesses from 46 different nationalities. The firm offers a full suite of wealth management services, ranging from estate planning to asset protection to discretionary asset management.

Despite being a global business operating on a vastly expanded scale, Boccard continues to be privately-owned, and is managed like a small boutique – such that every client continues to receive highly personalized service.
