Tareq Maaroufi
Head, Emerging Markets
Tareq has more than 25 years of experience as a professional investor. He was appointed Boccard’s Head of Emerging Markets in 2019, and spearheads the firm’s investments, research, and partnerships in high-potential markets such as the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and East Asia. Prior to this, he was one of the firm’s top-performing Relationship Managers.
An executive with an international outlook, Tareq has previously worked at large multinational institutions including Qatar National Bank and HSBC. He is also an advisor to a large family-owned textiles manufacturing business in Egypt.
Tareq has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
